The design concept of East Ocean Seaview Restaurant in One Peking Road comes from floral blossom. The carpet is specially designed as abstracted floral pattern flowing through the whole restaurant, giving a vivid and elegant atmosphere to the interior.
In this interior project, we have combined the modern and traditional elements to reconceptualize the interpretation of Chinese restaurant. The local public always interpret Chinese restaurant as "old-fashioned" so we have used different color tone - white grey with touch of red to give a stylish, simple and minimal ambience to the restaurant, instead of using gold, yellow and red massively.
Partitions with Chinese ink paintings are used to differentiate the interior spaces, at the same time give the interior a touch of Chinese traditional art.
